Our surveyor will come out and get pictures of your attic, electrical, roof and other items.  Our engineers and designers will take a look at all the data they gathered. If you don't hear anything from us that means everything checked out according to plan and we are moving forward. Take a look below to see how you are tracking in your project.

What You Need To Know About This Stage

Once your site visit has been completed your solar system will be installed and producing power within 120 days. Below is a graphic that outlines our installation process.  We do much of the work for you and we will keep you informed every step of the way. Once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll have a reliable and productive solar system that will produce electricity for many years to come!

A Solar Technician comes to the home to take measurements of relevant areas of the home and take pictures for the final design of the system.

A Designer will create a design of the solar array using a CAD program.  The design is approved by an engineer.

The Skyline Solar Team will apply for all necessary building permits for the city or county. They will also apply for a net metering agreement with the local power utility.

At the scheduled date and time, a Skyline Solar crew will put the solar panels on the property along with all other equipment for the system.

The new solar system is inspected to ensure it is compliant with all local codes and regulations.  Any corrections required will be promptly addressed.

The local power utility will go through their procedures for the net metering agreement including possibly replacing the electric meter.

With all processes complete, the system is ready to be turned on when it will immediately begin producing clean solar power!

How long will my project take?

Great Question!  We guarantee that your system will be operational within 120 days following your site survey, customers of MidAmerican, Alliant and Holy Cross will be finished in 150.  If we are not able to make our deadline, we will take care of your monthly solar payments for you!

What do I need to do next?

Make sure you've taken care of the action items mentioned above.  Once those are completed, nothing more is required of you for now.  We'll keep you updated as the project moves along.  We manage as many tasks as possible through the entire process!

How long until my site survey is complete?

Site Surveys only take about an hour once they're scheduled.

How can I submit a referral?
